This is a blog about my visit to the Michael C. Carlos Museum in Atlanta Ga. I will talk about the different floors, what you see when you first walk in, African Exhibit, Egyptian Exhibit, Oriental Exhibit, and Greek and Roman Exhibit finishing with a summary of the tour.
The Michael C. Carlos Museum is located on the campus of Emory University. The address is 571 South Kilgo Cir NE, Atlanta, GA 30322. I parked at a garage in walking distant right across from the museum. I walked through the doors and presented my ticket paid for on the social site livingsocial.com. The attendants explained how the guided tour worked. The ticket I had was for the audio tour. I was presented with a small smartphone with an app I would use to listen to the different exhibits. I then proceeded to the elevator that would take me to the first floor which was the Art of the America's, Ancient Egyptian, Nubian and Oriental Art, Greek and Roman Art. On floor 2 is the Administrative and Boardroom floor. On floor 3 the African Art artifacts.
